Welcome!!
Hardly thirty
kilometres from both Rotterdam and Utrecht, you find the classical-Holland
landscape of the Alblasserwaard. This area is declared to be
the most beautiful peat-meadow area of the year 2000!
The village Goudriaan, which is justly called 'the pearl of the
Alblasserwaard', is situated in the centre of this polder. At
the edge of this village you find dairy farm 'De Verwondering'
(which means: astonishment)
This is a medium sized farm with about fifty-five dairy cows.
The farm was built in 1995. This is also the year in which the
name 'De Verwondering' came into existence. We were surprised
about all innovations and about the leadership of God in these
things. We gave our farm this name to keep this astonishment
alive.
